Bring brands to life by engaging with the audience visually, emotionally and intelligently.

Since 2001 LWD has come a long way. In 2011 the one man band became a dynamic duo, with over 60 years combined experience, allowing us to offer a wide and varied graphic design service.

Both of us started from the shop floor, working on printing presses before moving into busy design studios and pre-press departments, giving us a broad knowledge of the various printing processes and how best to achieve what it is our clients are looking for. With this experience, enthusiasm and skill we are able to produce, for multiple applications and a variety of industries, high quality designs that work.

We pride ourselves on our hands on friendly approach, taking the time to understand a client’s company, needs and tastes, so that we can deliver the right solution to the design brief. Our client base varies from international companies to sole traders, but our approach to each project is the same. If needed, we can also print manage the project for you, using our network of suppliers to deliver the right product at a high quality and competitive price.

Not forgetting our roots, We are one of only a handful of specialists here in the UK, in dye sublimation print artwork, creating designs for the narrow fabrics industry, commonly used in products such as, Identity Lanyards, Queuing Barriers, Guitar Straps and Sportswear Trims. With the development in digitally printed dye sublimation, the process has broadened further and we are able to offer designs for items such as sports apparel including Rugby Shirts, Football Shirts, Running Vests and Swimwear.

Lee White

Dad, Music Lover, Film Watcher, Sports Fan,
Gamer and Designer.

Even after 25 plus years, my desire and enthusiasm to produce eye catching design hasn’t wained. Starting on the shop floor as a printer in my previous employment and then working through pre-press to the design studio, means I know the design process inside out. Any projects I produce take all production processes into account.

Paul Graham

Drummer, Gamer, Dog Walker, Man Cave Enthusiast
and according to the wife, grumpy old man.

I have over 30 years experience in the print design industry. Having worked in the prepress department of a printing company, alongside the design studio, gives me the experience of knowing how to achieve customers’ requirements in a way that can be printed cost effectively and reducing the need for excessive repro work needed at the printers.

We see websites as the shop window to a company. It is there to entice people to email or pick up the phone.

We create and manage company brands, websites are key to this, using our creative skills and experience we can produce effective and outstanding websites, we take the time to listen to what our clients want to portray and achieve, then set about exceeding their expectations.

A company’s brand defines how they are perceived, how it looks and what it says sells a company, you only get a few seconds to give a good first impression, if you are not there in person to seal the deal your branding needs to. But why does it seem that websites generally lack this? Yes they contain the logo and are in the right colours, but the overall look is distant to the other medium used to promote a business like brochures or leaflets. We are not saying a website needs to copy the brochure, far from it, but the design of a site, in our opinion, should encompass a company’s brand and be the main driving force of it. How can it do this when it doesn’t look the same? How can a tool this powerful and important be so overlooked?

It is not only the message you want to portray through design and colour, but also the language and written word. SEO (search engine optimisation) is how your site is found and ranked by search engines like Google. How this works and what is successful is changing all of the time, but this should not effect how you approach talking about your company. Content needs to be well written. There is nothing worse than finding a site and the text is unreadable, repeating two or three times in the same paragraph what they do and where they are trading from. This is actually frowned upon by Google. When a potential customer finds a site they want to be engaged and not be put off by lots of confusing waffle.

In addition to website design, we can also organise the technical stuff, domain, hosting and email and all this comes at very competitive rates. So is it time to have a another look at your own website? Is it giving over the message you want? Does it portray what you do, in the way you envisaged?
